Job summary

Maersk Tankers is seeking an Information Security Specialist to own governance, risk, and compliance activities in IT Security & Platforms. The role is based in Copenhagen, reporting to the Head of IT Security and Platforms.

You will drive risk reviews, maintain controls, and collaborate with stakeholders across Technology and the business to keep security practical and aligned with objectives. Priorities include audits and third‑party risk reviews.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of information security experience.
• Translate risk, compliance and control requirements into practical improvements.
• Familiarity with GDPR, NIS2, cloud security, or third‑party risk management is a plus.
• Ability to independently drive risk reviews and maintain controls.

Responsibilities

• Drive security governance processes and support risk management activities.
• Maintain and improve security policies, standards, and controls.
• Conduct security assessments and third‑party risk reviews.
• Support audits and compliance initiatives.
• Provide security advisory services and contribute to technical reviews.
• Participate in incident response and continuous improvement activities.
