Job summary

Maersk Tankers is seeking an experienced Head of IT Operations & Applications to lead the delivery, reliability, and continuous improvement of global IT services and business applications. You will lead a team of IT professionals, ensure secure and scalable operations, and drive IT service management processes across the enterprise.

• Proven leadership experience in IT operations, application management, and technology service delivery.
• Experience managing enterprise applications and IT service management processes (ITIL preferred).
• Strong business understanding with vendor and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the IT Operations & Applications team.
• Ensure stable, secure, and efficient operation of business-critical applications and IT services.
• Manage IT service management processes (incident, problem, change, request).
• Oversee application lifecycle management including upgrades, integrations, and vendor management.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT with business goals and governance.
