Job summary

Maersk Tankers in Copenhagen seeks a Security Manager to lead maritime, office, personnel and travel security across our global operations.

You will develop a robust security framework, provide risk-based guidance, support secure vessel operations, and drive programmes including ISPS compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience within corporate security, risk management, maritime security, law enforcement, military, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of maritime security threats, security risk assessment and the ISPS Code.
• Experience developing and managing security programmes, policies and governance frameworks.
• Ability to provide practical, risk-based advice and support decision-making in dynamic operational environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across functions and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the company’s senior subject matter expert for maritime, office, personnel, and travel security.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust security management framework across the organization.
• Provide risk-based security advice to support business operations.
• Support secure vessel operations worldwide and lead security preparedness and response activities.

As our Security Manager, you will:

• Serve as the company’s senior subject matter expert for maritime, office, personnel, and travel security
• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust security management framework across the organization
• Provide risk-based security advice to support business operations
• Support secure vessel operations worldwide and lead security preparedness and response activities
• Drive continuous improvement of our security programmes, including TMSA Element 13
