Job summary

g2 Recruitment seeks a Freelance Electronic Design Test Engineer for a Denmark-based defence programme. Hybrid: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote. Immediate start. 40 hours per week, engaging in design, test development and validation.

The role requires active Defence Security Clearance, 5+ years' commercial experience, and hands-on leadership in electronic design, test development, and verification. Remote collaboration will be supported where feasible.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' commercial experience in electronic design/test
• Hands-on, able to lead workstreams and deliverables
• Experience in defence/aerospace or highly regulated environments is desirable
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test systems for electronic products
• Develop and enhance test solutions using NI TestStand and LabVIEW
• Support verification, validation, and integration activities
• Work closely with engineering and programme teams to deliver milestones
• Provide technical leadership within your area of expertise
• Manage assigned work packages and ensure successful project delivery
