Job summary

Terma A/S in Denmark is seeking an Advanced Software Test Engineer to join the Effectors and Engagement team. You will validate defense scenarios and critical software changes, plan test activities, and collaborate with a Scrum team of highly skilled experts in a defense-focused organization.

You should have strong software testing experience, familiarity with agile development and CI/CD, and the ability to mentor others while sharing knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience with software testing and applying the right testing approach at the appropriate development stage.
• Experience in agile environments and CI/CD practices.
• Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and stay focused under pressure.
• Passion for testing and willingness to share knowledge while continuously learning.
• ISTQB/TMAP or risk-based testing certifications are advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute test activities for defense scenarios and critical system changes.
• Take responsibility for test planning and contribute to quality assurance throughout the lifecycle.
• Mentor junior software test engineers and promote a strong testing culture.
• Collaborate with Test Management and the broader test community to improve testing methods and automation.
• Support the team with testing expertise and ensure high reliability of software solutions.
