Job summary

DSB is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Solution Architect to ensure robust, well-integrated financial solutions across SAP FICO and SAP S/4HANA. You will design and implement scalable, future-proof configurations that support daily operations and strategic initiatives for Denmark's green transit agenda.

You will collaborate with the SAP CoE and Accounting, working closely with Poland-based consultants and nearshore teams.

Qualifications

• Solid experience as functional consultant/architect within SAP FICO best practice.
• Interest in staying up to date with SAP product portfolio news.
• Basic knowledge of integrations to MM, SD, PM and PS and of logistics processes.
• High proficiency in English and willingness to learn Danish.

Job description

Work with processes across a wide range of SAP while creating scalable, efficient systems that support Denmark's journey toward greener public transportation. You will optimize our financial solutions and SAP S/4HANA landscape to support future operations and green transition.

Welcome to the SAP Center of Excellence (SAP CoE)

Our SAP CoE works closely together to develop and optimize DSB's SAP platform, which supports strategic initiatives across the organization.

You will be part of the CoE’s FICO team that consists of an application architect, two internal consultants, our team lead as well as seven nearshore SAP consultants based in Poland.

We work on projects, change requests, and bug fixes in close cooperation with the Accounting Department and the SAP Development team.

We highly prioritize sharing knowledge through weekly team meetings, cross-disciplinary update meetings and 1-1 conversations with the team lead.

In addition, the entire CoE meets monthly and participates annually in a two-day seminar to enhance collaboration and share experiences.

What You Do

You will have an important function in ensuring that DSB's financial solutions are robust, well-integrated, future-proof and aligned with SAP Best Practice.

You will work with designing and implementing solutions that support both daily operations and strategic initiatives.

Furthermore, you will contribute to the ongoing development of DSB's SAP S/4HANA landscape with a focus on quality and value.

A typical day

Could start with a morning meeting with the SAP FICO team, where you share status and knowledge about ongoing tasks.

After this, you can spend the morning analyzing requirements for a new solution in collaboration with the accounting department and our colleagues in Poland.

After lunch, you might attend a project meeting to review the Business Blueprints for an upcoming implementation.

The day ends with testing and documenting a new configuration in SAP S/4HANA, which will ensure that the solution is ready for operation.

Other important tasks include, i.e.

• Advising on optimal use of SAP standard functionality to ensure scalable and maintenance-friendly solutions
• Managing integration between SAP and internal/external systems for smooth operations
• Workshops, training and process documentation

• A high proficiency in English, both orally and in writing - and a willingness to learn or improve your Danish skills.
