Job summary

DSV is seeking a Senior Project Specialist to join Special Projects & Digital Development within Group Corporate Finance in Hedehusene. You will drive strategic initiatives across Group Treasury, Sustainability & Compliance, and Corporate Accounting & Finance, while leading end-to-end delivery and guiding senior stakeholders.

We expect a senior, consultant-minded professional with a track record in finance and digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Strong focus on standardisation and improvement of Finance processes through consolidation and digitisation.
• Proven experience as Project Manager or management consultant within finance.
• Prince2 Practitioner-certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategic projects within Group Corporate Finance.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives and ensure solid accounting, financial and digital foundations.
• Manage end-to-end project delivery from idea to implementation within our People/Process/Technology framework.
• Support leadership with high-priority, time-critical initiatives and design new policies in collaboration with SMEs.

Driving Strategic Initiatives and Digital Development in Group Corporate Finance

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Project Specialist to join our team Special Projects & Digital Development within Group Corporate Finance.

This is a high-impact role focused on driving strategic initiatives and digital development, while supporting ad hoc, business-critical activities within Finance. You will operate across multiple sub-functions, including:

• Group Treasury
• Group Sustainability & Compliance
• Group Corporate Accounting & Finance

The role requires a senior, consultant-minded profile with the ability to navigate complexity, set direction, and ensure execution across diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver strategic projects
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives and projects within Group Corporate Finance
  • Ensure Enterprise Design and Scalability build on solid Accounting, Financial and Digital foundation.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery from idea to implementation within our framework for People, Process, Technology (and Intelligence/ data insights).
• Drive special projects and ad hoc activities
  • Support leadership with high-priority, time-critical initiatives
  • Use your experience within the Finance area to solve, design and roll out new policies and/or procedures in collaboration with SME’s and Senior Stakeholders in Group Corporate Finance.
  • Structure unclear problem statements into actionable plans and execution
• Engage and challenge senior stakeholders across Group functions
• Facilitate alignment of business, IT, Finance and compliance perspectives and expectations
• Governance and execution
  • Establish clear structure, milestones, and follow-up routines
  • Ensure transparency, progress tracking, and results delivery

Profile & Qualifications

• Strong skills in standardisation and improvement of Finance processes through consolidation and digitization.
• Proven experience as Project Manager or management consultant within finance.
  • Prince2 Practitioner-certification is not a requirement but preferred.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance processes, structures and reporting
• Experience with digital transformation and system implementation
• Ability to structure complex problems and translate them into actionable plans and actual executions across areas.
• Consultant mindset: analytical, structured, and solution-oriented
• Drive & ownership: proactive, hands-on, and able to move initiatives forward
• Challenging & influencing: confident engaging senior stakeholders and challenging the as-is picture
