Qualifications

• 8–10 years of SAP Basis and architecture experience.
• Degree in IT or related field and fluent in English.

• Deep knowledge of modern SAP hybrid setups and the ability to define new standards.

Join our ERP Operation and Integrations team in Copenhagen. You will define the future of our hybrid architecture and lead our SAP Basis transformation, driving the transition to the SIAM framework, SAP RISE operating model, and Clean Core principles. Your role blends strategic design, day‑to‑day governance, and hands‑on troubleshooting to keep our global, 24/7 landscape stable, optimized, and aligned to business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Strategic RISE & SIAM Operating Model: Lead basis architecture to move away from traditional hosting toward a partner‑centric model, coordinating all cloud environments (Dev, Test, Prod) and ensuring alignment with SAP’s standard support.
• Clean Core Optimization & Modernization (BTP & Fiori): Drive the elimination of obsolete ECC legacy transactions, route the technical landscape toward modern SAP Fiori applications and BTP extensions, and phase out custom code to keep the core agile.
• Roadmap Alignment & Budget Scoping: Own the technical roadmap, partner with the Service Delivery Manager to deliver milestones, write Architectural Requirement Dossiers (ARDs), and provide accurate estimates for initiatives such as the upcoming S/4HANA upgrade.
• Landscape Architecture & Operational Visibility: Map the end‑to‑end SAP landscape, design a KPI tree linked to system health, and provide continuous visibility into how technical performance impacts business operations.
• Problem Solving & Escalation Support: Provide expert Basis insights during outages or Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), identify root issues, and recommend permanent remediation strategies.

How to Succeed & Add Value

• Provide clear visibility of the technical roadmap and KPI metrics so stakeholders understand system health.
• Manage the RISE transition to avoid surprise costs by controlling database growth, archiving, and memory footprint.
• Reduce technical debt by guiding teams to abandon obsolete T‑codes and migrate to standard SAP Fiori and BTP.
• Act as a trusted advisor, mentoring the team and maintaining accurate documentation and ARDs.
• Hold external providers accountable with precise technical requirements.
• Translate complex infrastructure or security issues into plain language for non‑technical stakeholders.
• Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement lasting fixes.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of SAP Basis and architecture experience, covering databases, platform stacks, and hybrid cloud setups.
• Degree in IT or a related field and fluent in English.
• Expertise in managing SAP S/4HANA upgrades on RISE, system refreshes, and proactive patching strategies.
