Job summary

ABB is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive growth across Denmark and Norway. The role blends technical understanding with commercial responsibility to identify opportunities, build customer relationships, and recommend automation solutions for woodworking and manufacturing customers.

You will collaborate with Nordic sales, application engineering, customer care, product specialists, and marketing to deliver customer value. Hybrid work from Odense, Aarhus, or Aalborg is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• Experience in B2B sales, key account management, or business development in industrial automation.
• Ability to translate technical needs into automation solutions and opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with OEMs, machine builders, system integrators, and industrial customers.
• Identify new business opportunities in machine automation, robotics, and digitalization.
• Act as trusted advisor and help customers improve machine performance, productivity and sustainability.
• Manage full sales process: opportunity development, forecasting, negotiations, quotations, and contracts.
• Maintain CRM records, support pipeline management, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
