Job summary
UVL A/S is seeking a Sales Engineer to open and own the analytical instrumentation market, with a focus on UHPLC and UV-Vis manufacturers. You’ll be the bridge between our photonics technology and OEM product development teams, translating technical requirements into compelling value propositions and driving design-in conversations.
Based in Åbyhøj, Denmark, with frequent on-site work and international travel, you’ll lead market engagements, represent the company at trade shows, and help define
Qualifications
- Experience in technical sales or business development within analytical instrumentation, photonics, laser or optics components, ideally targeting OEMs.
- Understanding of optical systems and ability to discuss with R&D engineers.
- Knowledge of the HPLC/UV-Vis market is an advantage.
- Founder mentality and willingness to be on-site in the Aarhus area.
- Fluent English; Danish is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build and own a pipeline of design-in conversations with instrument manufacturers.
- Translate technical specifications (wavelength, power, footprint, lifetime) into value propositions for OEM engineers and procurement.
- Drive market awareness and visibility through trade shows, technical webinars, whitepapers, and direct outreach to R&D and procurement teams.
- Gather market feedback and feed it back into product development.
- Drive the proposal process and technical negotiations toward design wins.
