Job summary

SummitLab in Herning, Denmark seeks a skilled Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure top service, and maximize profitability. This is a contract position with a salary of $1,100 per month.

You will lead staff, train, schedule, manage inventory, ensure health and safety, and build supplier relationships. Accommodation and visa assistance are provided; opportunities for growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant management experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong leadership abilities to motivate and train a team.
• Excellent spoken and written English; Danish language skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of increasing sales and managing budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the restaurant including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling and inventory management.
• Train and supervise staff to ensure high-quality customer service standards are met.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Create and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability of ingredients.
