Ramboll is seeking a High Voltage Substation Control Engineer in Copenhagen or Aarhus to work on major infrastructure projects. You will develop control and protection specifications, configure RTUs and relays, and lead testing and commissioning of HV installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Experience in electrical design for transmission and distribution grids is a plus.
• Relevant practical and professional experience in HV systems is required.
• Valid driver’s license (Category B).
• Background in consulting, industry, suppliers, or similar is advantageous.
• Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Develop engineering specifications for control and protection cabinets within the 30–400 kV range.
• Configure and maintain station control systems, including RTUs and protection relays from Sprecher, ABB, and Siemens.
• Perform testing and commissioning of station control installations using specialized test equipment.
• Draft engineering specs for HV and MV equipment (transformers, GIS/AIS, reactive power, filters).
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams across concept, design, procurement, and commissioning.
