Zalaris is seeking a Danish Payroll Specialist to join our international team in a role focused on SAP Payroll, automation, and AI-enabled efficiency. You’ll work with Danish payroll regulations, support clients globally, and use English daily in a dynamic outsourcing setting.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of Danish payroll processing and payroll legislation.
Ability to analyse payroll data, identify trends, perform reconciliations, and provide customers with meaningful insights.
Professional level English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Execute and oversee end-to-end payroll processes within SAP Payroll.
Ensure payroll calculations are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
Analyse and resolve complex payroll issues and discrepancies.
Maintain payroll-related master data and system records.
Validate payroll results through control checks, reconciliations, and audits.
Prepare payroll and management reports.
Support customers and employees with payroll-related queries.
Monitor legislative changes and ensure payroll compliance.
Contribute to payroll process improvements, automation, and standardisation initiatives.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and technical teams on payroll-related projects.
Support testing activities related to system enhancements, upgrades, and regulatory changes.
Maintain payroll documentation and operational procedures.
