Job summary

Trackunit is seeking a Software Engineer to build and ship new features on a scalable platform. You will join a platform team that owns multiple live domains relied on daily by customers, focusing on high-scale, reliable systems.

You’ll work on live production systems, creating services within a modern cloud-based microservice and event-driven architecture, with emphasis on quality, observability, and incremental delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java with Spring Boot and Kafka.
• Experience building and running services in cloud-based microservice architectures.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven design.

Responsibilities

• Improve, extend and run live domains and APIs without disrupting production.
• Build and run your own services, with clear migration paths as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams building products on the platform.
• Keep the platform observable and reliable at high data volumes.
