Job summary

Trackunit is seeking a backend engineer to build the foundation of our integrations effort, connecting Trackunit with third‑party systems. You'll design reusable architecture, build connectors and interact with teams behind the systems we connect to.

You could be mid‑level or senior, but your code will shape how data moves into our platform. You’ll work with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST APIs in a microservice setup, delivering reliable, observable software while collaborating with

Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST APIs in a microservice architecture.
Experience designing reusable architecture for integrating with multiple systems.
Comfort discussing feasibility with third-party teams.
Care about data movement between systems with quality, observability and reliability.
Motivated by incremental delivery and building foundations from scratch.

Responsibilities

Design a reusable architecture for integrating with multiple third-party systems.
Build connectors that collect data from third-party systems via REST APIs and bring it into the platform.
Understand and transform data into Trackunit's data model.
Collaborate with third-party vendors on technical feasibility and approaches.
Build with quality, observability and reliability in mind in a microservice/event-driven setup.
