Job summary

Bühler Group in Denmark is seeking a Quotation Specialist to prepare and manage quotations for service projects and service agreements. You will work closely with Sales and Operations to ensure quotes are accurate, competitive, and aligned with pricing strategy.

You will lead quotation development, analyze customer requirements, define scope and costs, and collaborate with tax, legal, finance, and engineering to deliver compliant proposals that maximize profitability while sustaining customer

Qualifications

• University degree in business administration or engineering, or equivalent education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Quotation Engineer/Quotation Specialist or proof of sufficient skills.
• Sound understanding of pricing strategies, financial analysis, contract negotiation and project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop quotes for service projects and service agreements aligned with pricing strategy.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure accurate pricing and scope.
• Lead quotation development including cost, scope, risks and commercial terms.
• Coordinate with tax, legal, finance and engineering to gather information for compliant quotations.

Job description

As a Quotation Specialist you will be responsible for preparing and managing quotations for Service Projects (single machines/retrofits/automation upgrades etc.) and Service Agreements.

This role requires close collaboration with the Sales and internal (Operations) teams to ensure all quotations are accurate, competitive, and aligned with the company's pricing strategy, focusing on defining the scope, cost, and commercial terms.

This is where you'll excel

• Technical and commercial responsibility for Service Projects and Service Agreements quotations
• Elaborate on the technical and commercial analysis of customer requirements and project opportunities in alignment with the sales manager
• Develop the concept in collaboration with sales, technology, engineering, and commercial services
• Leads quotation development (including cost, scope, risks and commercial terms), and actively supports negotiation of related complex services agreements in order to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with experts from relevant departments to gather the necessary information for creating accurate and compliant quotations, i.e., technical experts, tax, legal, commercial, finance, etc.

These are the skills you'll need

• University degree in business administration or engineering, or equivalent education through other educational paths
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Quotation Engineer/Quotation Specialist or proof of sufficient skills
• Sufficient technical knowledge (depending on market) to understand client processes, not only machines but overall transformation and operation processes to identify customer needs
• Sound understanding of pricing strategies, financial analysis, contract negotiation, and project management principles
