Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a Procurement Specialist to drive the raw materials procurement for Site Copenhagen (Avedøre). The role emphasizes execution, collaboration, and continuous optimization across the supply chain.

You will ensure material availability, optimize stock, and work closely with Production, Warehouse, and Planning teams to meet site targets. Fluency in Danish and English is required; SAP ECC and MS Office experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver strong performance in line with targets set by site management.
• Maintain stock levels in accordance with site management goals.
• Collaborate with Production and Warehouse on delivery issues and optimization opportunities.
• Report recurring or unresolved issues to Procurement Category Management.
• Execute daily procurement activities based on MRP requirements and end-user needs.
• Provide input to planners on material-level improvements related to forecasting, safety stock, and lot sizes.
• Proactively using ERP and MRP systems to support inventory reduction and strengthen inventory management.
• Coordinate with key stakeholders across Procurement, Suppliers, Planning, Customer Service, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Production.
• Managing SCRAP processes and following up on expired and obsolete stock.
