Job summary

Talgo ApS. is expanding its operations in Denmark and is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our new project in Næstved. The role focuses on SAP-driven operations, material management, and cross-functional communication with internal and external stakeholders.

You will handle daily SAP tasks, coordinate with technical teams and warehouse staff, and contribute to KPI dashboards and monthly reporting for the project. Strong English is required, with Danish or Spanish as an advantage.

Qualifications

• Degree in SCM, Logistics, BA, Engineering or similar.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP.
• Procurement, inventory management or logistics experience.
• Excellent stakeholder communication across all levels.
• English proficiency expected; Danish or Spanish is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform SAP material operations: purchase orders, goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, reservations and service entries.
• Maintain material master data, BOMs, supplier records and warehouse information.
• Monitor stock levels, lead times, and safety stocks using SAP MM/PM reports.
• Analyze consumption trends, stock movements and material availability via SAP reports.
• Coordinate with technical teams, warehouse staff, purchasing and project management.
• Communicate with suppliers to track orders, resolve delays and ensure quality/documentation.
• Oversee end-to-end material flow from procurement to warehouse distribution.
• Support warehouse operations with accurate stock placement, cycle counting and documentation.

About the Role

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will ensure efficient material availability and flow for maintenance and warranty operations in Næstved.

The role requires daily hands‑on work in SAP, strong coordination skills, and proactive communication with stakeholders across the organization and supply base.

Key Responsibilities

SAP-Focused Responsibilities

• Perform all material-related operations in SAP: purchase orders, goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, reservations, and service entries.
• Maintain up-to-date material master data, BOMs, supplier records, and warehouse information.
• Monitor stock levels, lead times, and safety stocks using SAP MM/PM reporting functionalities.
• Analyse consumption trends, stock movements, and material availability through SAP-generated reports.
• Identify and correct incorrect bookings, workflow issues, or inconsistencies in SAP data.
• Build and export SAP data sets for KPIs, operational dashboards, and monthly reporting.

Stakeholder Communication

• Coordinate with technical teams, warehouse staff, purchasing, and project management to ensure alignment on material needs and delivery timelines.
• Communicate professionally with suppliers, tracking orders, resolving delays, and managing quality or documentation issues.
• Ensure clear and timely communication of material availability, shortages, and risks to internal stakeholders.
• Participate in cross‑functional meetings to support planning, forecasting, and operational readiness.
• Build strong working relationships within the organization to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

General Supply Chain Responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end material flow for the project—from procurement to warehouse distribution.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics with carriers and suppliers.
• Support warehouse operations by ensuring correct stock placement, cycle counting, and documentation.
• Contribute to improving supply chain processes, particularly those linked to SAP and operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a similar field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAP.
• Proven experience in procurement, inventory management, or logistics—ideally in industrial, railway, automotive, or heavy‑equipment sectors.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced operational environment.
• High level of English; Danish or Spanish are an advantage.
