Job summary

Hi Rasmus Inc. is seeking a hands‑on Principal Software Engineer to shape platform architecture and mentor engineers across multiple teams. You will partner with the Director of Engineering to drive technical direction, scalability, and robust practices in a fully remote European setting.

The role emphasizes real code contribution, architectural leadership, and collaboration with AI‑driven development methods while maintaining high standards in privacy, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior, Lead, or Principal Software Engineer delivering complex production‑grade systems.
• Deep proficiency in Vue 3 and Node.js with full‑stack understanding.
• Strong experience with Domain‑Driven Design and architectural boundaries.
• Experience with Firebase, Firestore, and Google Cloud Platform services.
• Proven track record of guiding multiple teams and setting technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex technical problems across teams and domains.
• Pilot new tools and patterns in production.
• Facilitate architecture decisions with Product and stakeholders.
• Guide evolution of web/mobile platform using Vue 3, Node.js, Firebase, Firestore, and GCP.
• Mentor Senior and Lead Engineers through code reviews and design.
• Strengthen internal ownership through documentation and hands‑on collaboration.
• Contribute to engineering career ladder and hiring decisions.
• Advance AI‑assisted development practices responsibly.
