Job summary

Aleta, a wealth intelligence platform, seeks a Principal Engineer based in or near Aarhus to lead the platform's technical direction. You will own architecture, data models and the Rust calculation engine, ensuring correctness while enabling AI-driven productivity across a lean team.

You will collaborate directly with the founders and set engineering standards, review outputs, and drive continual improvement in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• AI is your primary engineering method and you can articulate strong opinions about its use.
• You debug from symptoms to root cause using logs, traces, metrics and DB state.
• You balance perfection with shipability and avoid over-engineering.
• Fintech interest is a plus, not a requirement.
• Based in or near Aarhus, the role sits with domain knowledge holders.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, the data model and technical direction for the platform.
• Own the calculation engine in Rust and ensure correctness where it matters most.
• Drive monitoring, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across the chain.
• Enforce and evolve engineering conventions and agent workflows.
• Guide the engineering team through technical decisions and future hires.
