Job summary

Axelera AI is looking for an experienced software engineer to lead a major area of the Voyager SDK. You will shape architecture for computer vision operators, optimize memory usage on diverse hardware, and build reusable frameworks with strong technical judgment.

You will mentor engineers, drive documentation standards and collaborate with product teams to align roadmaps while enabling high-performance, production-grade AI solutions across Europe.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hand-on experience in semiconductor/AI
• Deep expertise with edge deployment frameworks (OpenVINO/TensorRT)
• Experience with GPU APIs (OpenCL/Vulkan)
• Strong AI application development with Python and ML libraries
• Architect and deploy end-to-end pipelines with quantized models
• Experience with transfer learning and model optimization

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical strategy for Voyager SDK area
• Set technical direction for image pre/post processing and decoders
• Drive integration of model frameworks for low-code/no-code deployment
• Define metadata representations and libraries for model types
• Own latency/throughput across hardware platforms and build profiling tools
• Represent team to stakeholders and mentor engineers
