Job summary

Systematic Copenhagen is hiring an Software Architect to shape the architectural foundation of AI‑driven solutions, with a focus on Java backend and Python tooling for multi‑agent workflows and RAG pipelines.

You will define technical vision, design scalable architectures and implement production‑grade software, guided by strong ML/LLM fundamentals, testing, logging and observability. Expect travel and close collaboration with Aarhus and Copenhagen teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with architecture focus.
• Strong backend experience in Java and familiarity with frontend architectures such as Angular.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture, message queues and system integration patterns.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in deployment.
• A proven track record of defining technical vision and architectural strategy that supports product scalability and evolution.
• Solid software engineering practices, including testing, logging, observability and version control.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer needs into robust AI agent architectures.
• Design and implement AI agents, tools and knowledge integrations.
• Ensure safe, traceable outcomes with guardrails and LOt design.
• Write production-grade Java code with tests and logging.
• Define technology standards and evaluate new technologies.
