Job summary

Hi Rasmus Inc. is seeking a hands-on Principal Software Engineer to join our Engineering department. You will shape platform architecture, mentor engineers, and drive complex problems across teams while collaborating with leadership to adopt modern practices.

This fully remote role covers Europe (CET ±2 hours) with responsibilities across Vue 3, Node.js, Firebase/Firestore and Google Cloud Platform. You will champion AI-assisted development and establish technical standards that empower teams to

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Senior, Lead, or Principal Software Engineer delivering complex, production-grade systems.
• Deep proficiency in Vue 3 and Node.js with strong full-stack understanding.
• Strong Domain-Driven Design skills and experience with Firebase, Firestore, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Proven track record of guiding multiple teams and setting technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex cross-team technical problems spanning systems and domains.
• Pilot new tools and practices in production before broader adoption.
• Guide architecture decisions with Product and stakeholders early.
• Collaborate with Director of Engineering, CTO, and Lead Engineers to evolve the platform across tech stack.
• Establish shared technical standards for code quality, testing, APIs, and design.
