Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Copenhagen region seeks a Passenger Service Manager to lead the Passenger Service department, overseeing day-to-day operations, stakeholder relations, and administrative coordination for efficient, safe and compliant service delivery.

Reporting to senior management, you will manage team leaders, drive performance, optimise resources and strengthen revenue opportunities while upholding the company’s policies and standards across the station.

Qualifications

• Substantial operational management experience.
• Experience in aviation passenger handling.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong communications with senior airline and airport stakeholders.
• Able to work with a multinational workforce and adapt to local conditions.
• Knowledge of airport reservation systems.
• Capability to develop the departmental management team and re-engineer processes.
• Developed communication and diplomacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Improve delivery by developing a motivated and skilled team.
• Maximise revenue through product development and other opportunities.
• Budgetary control, ensuring efficient labour utilization and department cost management.
• Ensure HR processes and company policies are followed.
• Coordinate with airport suppliers & handlers to meet service standards.
• Create and maintain accurate staff database.
• Oversee monthly payroll including overtime, bonuses, step-up pay and deductions.
• Process all new starters, leavers, and changes in hours or job title.
• Record sickness data and follow HR policies regarding sickness and lateness.
• Manage stationery, water and vending supplies.
• Perform any other reasonable duty.
