Job summary

Everllence offers an exciting industrial PhD project focused on real‑time marine engine digital twins. You will help automate, validate, and scale the framework, enabling easier setup and usage across engine configurations and test scenarios.

You will work with a PhD researcher, develop data‑driven models, and contribute to turning a research prototype into a practical tool for industry. The role blends software, simulation, and engineering research in a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Are pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with strong Python programming skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating efficiently with others.

Responsibilities

  • Improve and extend Python tools used to automate the process of building digital twins, including managing simulation parameters and handling different engine configurations.
  • Develop automated simulation and testing scenarios to validate digital twin performance across operating conditions.
  • Support collaboration with domain experts from different engineering disciplines to understand technical challenges and help develop practical solutions in the simulation framework.
  • Support the validation of digital twins by comparing simulation results with measurements obtained from real engines.
