Job summary

Everllence is seeking a Research Engineer to conduct emissions and process measurements, analyze data, and support decarbonization efforts in shipping. You will prepare equipment, set up test campaigns, and travel to external sites and vessels worldwide as part of a collaborative engineering team.

The role emphasizes developing measurement methods, calibration, and ensuring compliance with industry standards, with regular international travel and cross-border cooperation.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, or Chemistry Engineering.
• Basic programming skills in Python or C++ are advantageous but not required.
• Experience in the maritime sector and handling physical testing is beneficial.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across the organization and promote teamwork.
• Conduct measurements and validate data during test campaigns at external sites and onboard vessels.
• Share test outcomes with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain measuring methods and equipment, including calibration and certificates.
• Support retrofit amendment processes to ensure test results meet industry regulations.
