Job summary

Everllence is seeking a Research Engineer in Denmark to conduct emissions and process measurements for two-stroke engines used in maritime applications. You will analyze data, validate results, and support development toward decarbonizing shipping.

The role involves testing at external sites and onboard vessels worldwide, preparing equipment, and collaborating across teams. International travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and a background in mechanical, marine, electrical or chemical engineering.
• Experience in the maritime sector and physical testing is preferred.
• Basic programming skills in Python or C++ are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conducting measurements and validating data during test campaigns at external sites and onboard vessels worldwide.
• Ensuring outcomes of testing activities are shared with internal and external stakeholders.
• Developing and maintaining measuring methods and equipment, including calibration and ensuring certificates remain valid.
• Supporting the retrofit amendment process to ensure test results comply with industry legislation.
• Preparing the adequate equipment and setting up prior to commencing test campaigns; traveling with the engineering team.
