Job summary

Everllence is seeking a Research Engineer to advance emissions and process measurements for decarbonizing shipping. You will prepare equipment, set up test campaigns, and contribute to data analysis while traveling internationally.

Qualifications

• Engineering background in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical, Chemistry Engineering or equivalent.
• Basic programming skills in Python, C++, or similar are an advantage but not required.
• Experience in the maritime sector, preferably with shipping and physical testing.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Curious mindset with a passion for continuous development.
• Strong planning skills for technical test activities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating across the organization and encouraging teamwork.
• Conducting measurements and validating data during test campaigns at external sites and onboard vessels worldwide.
• Ensuring outcomes of testing activities are shared with internal and external stakeholders.
• Developing and maintaining measuring methods and equipment, including calibration and ensuring certificates remain valid.
• Supporting the retrofit amendment process to ensure test results comply with industry legislation.
