Research Engineer for Engine Process Measurement & Development
Are you interested in working with two-stroke engines for maritime applications and, at the same time, contributing to improving the global climate?
Everllence is seeking a motivated and curious Research Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting emissions and process measurements, including analyzing and validating data, to support our continuous development towards decarbonizing shipping.
As a Research Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing the adequate equipment, as well as setting up prior to commencing test campaigns. When travelling, you will be part of a skilled engineering team, with each team member contributing within their respective specialist areas to optimize and develop the engine process.
You can expect to be travelling approximately 90 days per year spread across 4-5 trips annually with a duration of 1-4 weeks. Travel will involve visits to our various locations, including our licenses in east Asia and onboard vessels in service worldwide.
You will become part of the Engine Process Measurement and Development department, which is part of Two-Stroke R&D. We are responsible for developing our engine platform, as well as challenging the current technologies and fuel types to help decarbonize the maritime industry. The group you will be part of consists of 17 colleagues from a variety of nationalities and backgrounds, bringing expertise in measurement technology. Teamwork is what characterizes the group, and social events are frequently organized, helping to foster an inclusive culture.
