Job summary

Everllence in Denmark is seeking a Student Worker for Marine Engine Digital Twin Development (Python). You will help automate and extend Python tools to build and validate digital twins, supporting a PhD project at ECSSIM/LDED.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Available to work 10–15 hours per week during exams.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with others.
• Familiarity with C++.
• Experience with simulation, modelling, or numerical methods.
• Experience building small software tools or automating tasks.

Responsibilities

• Improve and extend Python tools to automate building digital twins.
• Develop automated simulation and testing scenarios to validate performance.
• Collaborate with domain experts from different engineering disciplines.
• Validate digital twins by comparing simulations with measurements from real engines.
