Job summary

Tech People 247 is seeking a reliable Desktop Support Specialist (Level 1) to deliver onsite technical support. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues for end-users, responding to local dispatch requests with efficient ticket updates.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware, OS support, and clear communication, requiring punctuality and independent work at client locations within the region.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support or helpdesk experience, preferably onsite.
• CompTIA A+ or equivalent foundational hardware/networking cert preferred.
• Familiar with Windows 10/11 and basic networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite hardware diagnostics, component replacements, and basic cable management.
• Assist with Windows OS setup, software installs, updates, and password resets.
• Troubleshoot local network connectivity and Wi-Fi access for end users.
• Attend and document task-based site visits with clear resolution steps.
• Set up new workstation equipment and perform basic asset tagging as instructed.
