Job summary

SteelAxis is seeking an Online Student Consultant to provide support for students in their online courses. This is a remote role, and you will communicate with students through various online platforms to answer questions and provide technical help.

You will monitor student progress, keep detailed records, and escalate issues as necessary. The role prefers candidates with customer service or teaching experience and strong communication skills while working independently as a student or recent

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or teaching role preferred.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Currently enrolled as a student or recent graduate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with students through email, chat and video to provide support for online courses.
• Answer questions regarding course materials, assignments and technical issues.
• Proactively monitor student progress and offer assistance to ensure success.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to the online platform and escalate when needed.
• Keep detailed records of interactions and provide progress reports to management.
• Stay updated on course materials and changes in requirements.

As an Online Student Consultant you will provide support and guidance to students seeking assistance with their online courses This is a remote position and you will be responsible for communicating with students through various online platforms Your main duties will include answering student questions providing technical support and proactively monitoring student progress to ensure success in their courses

Responsibilities

• - Communicate with students through email chat and video conferencing to provide support and guidance for their online courses
• - Answer student questions regarding course materials assignments and technical issues
• - Proactively monitor student progress and offer assistance as needed to ensure success in their courses
• - Troubleshoot technical issues related to the online platform and elevate to the appropriate team when necessary
• - Keep detailed records of student interactions and provide reports on student progress to management
• - Continuously stay updated on course materials and changes in course requirements

Requirements
