Job summary

Semco Maritime is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC design experience to develop robust HVAC solutions for offshore substations in renewables. You will join our Mechanical & HVAC team, contributing from concept to commissioning on EPCI contracts, coordinating with multiple disciplines and clients.

The role involves designing ventilation, cooling, heating, pressurization, and documentation, with ~30 travel days per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
• Experience with HVAC engineering and design in industrial/marine/offshore.
• Knowledge of ventilation, cooling, heating, pressurization incl. DX and water-based cooling.
• Professional English and strong teamwork, quality, safety.
• Experience with technical documentation and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Design ventilation, cooling, heating and pressurization systems.
• Develop HVAC philosophies, diagrams, and requisitions.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical, structural, piping, fire protection and controls.
• Support procurement, bid evaluation and vendor follow-up.
• Support fabrication, testing and commissioning, FAT/SAT.
• Work on EPCI offshore substation projects.
