Job summary

Semco Maritime A/S is seeking a Site Engineer, Mechanical for our Renewables division. You will join an experienced team responsible for offshore substations and windfarm projects, with frequent global travel to offshore and onshore sites.

Safety is central as you lead installations, tests and commissioning of mechanical systems. The role requires a degree in mechanical/marine engineering, hands‑on system experience, and strong English communication within an international environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/marine engineering or similar.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems.
• Experience with staff and supplier contracts.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Willingness to travel internationally to sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily site activities for 4–10 workers.
• Ensure activities align with the project schedule and planning.
• Coordinate with installation suppliers, yard, and partners.
• Purchase and oversee timely material delivery; coordinate with vendors.
• Plan changes with Engineering on design and other topics.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and problem solving.
• Run start‑up and commissioning of mechanical systems.
