Job summary

Semco Maritime is seeking a Site Engineer, Mechanical for our Renewables division. You will join a team of engineers responsible for offshore substations and windfarm projects worldwide, delivering installations, tests, and commissioning of mechanical systems.

The role involves coordinating daily site activities, planning with engineering on design changes, and managing supplier contracts while traveling to sites globally, offshore and onshore.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or marine engineering.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems.
• Experience with staff and supplier contracts.
• Safety-first mindset.
• Willingness to travel to international sites.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily site activities for 4-10 skilled workers.
• Ensure activities adhere to the schedule and are well planned.
• Coordinate with installation suppliers, yard and partners.
• Purchase and oversee timely delivery of materials; liaise with vendors.
• Plan with Engineering on design changes and other topics.
• Ad-hoc daily tasks and problem solving.
• Run start-up and commissioning of mechanical systems.
