Job summary

Semco Maritime is seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in HVAC design to develop systems for offshore substations within the Renewables division. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across design, procurement and commissioning, contributing to robust and safe HVAC solutions for offshore installations.

Responsibilities include EPCI contract work, documentation, equipment sizing, and interface coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
• Experience with HVAC engineering and offshore projects.
• Knowledge of ventilation, cooling, heating, and pressurization systems; DX and water-based cooling.
• Strong English communication and safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC solutions for offshore substations under EPC contracts.
• Develop technical documentation, specs and requisitions.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, piping, fire protection and control teams.
• Support fabrication, testing, commissioning, FATs/SATs and site activities.
