Job summary

Vestas is seeking a 1st line Technical Support professional to join the One Tool Offshore warehouse in Esbjerg, Denmark. You will provide 1st level troubleshooting and assist in ensuring tooling readiness for site operations.

Fluent English and Danish, plus a technical/mechanical background, are important. Travel about 30 days per year may be required, with responsibilities spanning hydraulic/electrical control systems and collaboration with offshore teams.

Qualifications

• Technical support experience in a technical or mechanical role.
• Offshore wind experience is a plus.
• Understanding of hydraulic and electrical control systems.
• Knowledge of supply chain operations.
• Experience as a WTG technician.
• Fluent in English and Danish (written and spoken).
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Structured, stakeholder-facing communication.
• Willingness to continuously improve and optimize processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced root cause analysis and troubleshooting of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Evaluate tooling fitness-for-purpose and ensure compliance with standards and certification requirements.
• Support inspection, maintenance, recertification, and life cycle management of tooling assets and governance processes.
• Review technical documentation, drawings, risk assessments, and operating procedures.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams, offshore personnel, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives based on operational experience, failure analysis, and lessons learned.
• Coordinate technical investigations involving equipment failures, incidents, and non-conformities and oversee repair activities.
