Job summary

Vestas is the energy industry's global partner on sustainable energy solutions. We are seeking an experienced Global Offshore Support Field Trainer to coach Offshore Service Site Technicians at new sites worldwide, guiding ramp-up and readiness and ensuring knowledge sharing across the Global Offshore operation.

You will train on V236 turbines, perform troubleshooting, support remote operations, and drive improvements in first-time fix rates while upholding Vestas safety rules.

Qualifications

  • Electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/university.
  • Authorised Technician status on V164/V174 or EnVentus platforms is preferred.
  • Good English skills both oral and written.
  • Full driver’s license and IT skills (SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel globally to train sites.

Responsibilities

  • Train and coach technicians on operation and maintenance of V236 15MW turbines.
  • Serve as a key contact for lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support site teams in following processes and best practices for offshore operations.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on electrical and mechanical systems (on-site and remote).
  • Deliver technical and operational training on the V236 platform; onboard and develop new technicians.
  • Improve efficiency by increasing first-time fix rates and monitoring performance (Power BI).
  • Promote safety and operational excellence by coaching teams on safety rules.
