Job summary

Vestas seeks an experienced Global Offshore Support Field Trainer to coach and train offshore service technicians at new sites Worldwide. You will undergo initial technical training and be placed at offshore sites across the globe, supporting ramp-up and knowledge sharing.

You will train on V236 turbines, promote safety, and drive improvements with tools like Power BI, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to Vestas processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent technical education.
• Advantage if you have professional experience in electrical/mechanical roles and similar field trainer roles.
• Authorised Technician status on V164/V174 or EnVentus platforms is required/advantageous.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Full valid driving license.
• IT skills with MS Office; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach technicians on operation and maintenance of V236 15MW turbines and promote OneVestas philosophy.
• Serve as a key contact for lessons learned and drive continuous improvement across global value chain.
• Support site teams to follow Vestas processes and best practices for scalable offshore ops.
• Assist with troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of electrical and mechanical systems on-site and remotely.
• Deliver technical and operational training on the V236 platform and onboard new technicians.
• Improve first-time fix rates, reduce service times, and monitor performance using BI tools.
