Job summary

RWE is seeking a Balance of Plant (BoP) Technician for Thor Offshore Wind Farm off the west coast of Denmark. You will join small teams of technicians and external providers to inspect and maintain foundation and balance-of-plant assets, supporting safe offshore operations.

Responsibilities include inspections, reporting faults, monitoring corrosion protection and coordinating with RWE and service providers to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a mechanical, electrical or wind turbine technician.
• At least two years of offshore wind or utilities maintenance experience.
• Good IT skills including Fluix or SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and technical inspections of foundations, ladders and secondary structures.
• Identify corrosion, fatigue and other faults and report findings.
• Monitor cathodic protection systems and seabed scour coordination.
• Maintain davit cranes and support turbine operations when needed.
• Document work in Fluix and create SAP fault notifications.
