Job summary

Synoptik Scandinavia is establishing a new Scandinavian Store Operations function to lead productivity, workforce planning and operational excellence across Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The role reports to the CEO Scandinavia and requires travel, with Copenhagen as the preferred location and Stockholm/Oslo as alternatives.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within large, complex or matrix organisations, Nordic experience preferred.
• Experience leading operational excellence or large-scale improvement programmes.
• Strong understanding of productivity, workforce planning and cost optimisation.
• Background from retail, FMCG, hospitality, consumer services or multi-site environments.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Ability to lead distributed teams across multiple countries.
• Experience in consulting, business development, or transformation roles would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Scandinavian Store Operations strategy.
• Lead productivity, workforce planning and operational performance initiatives.
• Develop and enable excellence in Store support and customer service functions.
• Drive strategic projects, transformation programmes and process improvements.
• Build common ways of working across Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
• Partner closely with HR, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and IT.
• Act as the key interface between Scandinavian operations and EssilorLuxottica's EMEA Store Operations organisation.
• Lead and develop Store Operations teams across Scandinavia.
