Job summary

NCC seeks a Category Manager & Team Leader for the Nordic Fleet to lead a six-person team across Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. You will drive fleet category strategy, governance, and supplier relationships while enabling organizational change.

We value strong leadership, strategic procurement experience, and the ability to execute across a matrix organization. English and a Nordic language are required, with travel across the Nordics and a hybrid work setup supported.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in category management or procurement.
• Academic degree in engineering, business, economics or related field.
• Experience with fleet management or asset-intensive operations is a plus.
• Strong ability to lead through change in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategies to support NCC’s long-term goals.
• Lead the Nordic Fleet team across Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
• Build Nordic processes, responsibilities and governance for the fleet category.
• Own supplier agreements, policies and governance within the category.
• Develop supplier relationships through Supplier Relationship Management.
• Analyze market trends, conduct risk assessments, provide insights and recommendations.
• Ensure use of category strategies and framework agreements across the organization.
• Follow up on KPIs and ensure inventory and asset visibility.
