Job summary

Mars is seeking a seasoned Logistics Manager to oversee 3PL and supplier coordination across the Nordics, ensuring SLA-driven performance and compliant operations. The role emphasizes strategic planning, optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with the European Supply Chain Team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in logistics/transport coordination, strong SAP/TMS proficiency, and a track record of delivering cost savings while maintaining high service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, engineering, business admin, or related field.
• 5+ years in transportation coordination, logistics planning, 3PL management, or warehouse operations in FMCG or food manufacturing preferred.
• ERP systems (SAP) + transport management software (TMS) proficiency.
• Advanced MS Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI) skills valued.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis with quick decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage 3PL providers and suppliers across FTW and FTC transport, warehousing, parcels, pallets, and consumables in the Nordics.
• Lead monthly performance reviews with logistics partners to maintain high service levels.
• Ensure compliance with Mars DQM/EMQM standards and conduct stock/inventory control across warehouses.
• Establish and monitor logistics SLAs and KPIs; drive continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
