Job summary

Saxo Bank is building a Markets Data Office and seeking a Data Portfolio Analyst to work with business stakeholders and technology teams. You will focus on improving how critical data is defined, monitored and controlled across domains such as instrument reference data, market data and trades.

You will learn from experienced colleagues, gradually take on responsibilities, and help shape governance practices while contributing to ongoing data initiatives in Markets.

Qualifications

• Recently graduated or around 1–2 years of professional experience.
• Degree in finance, economics, business analytics, information systems, data science or similar.
• Experience with SQL, Python or similar tools from studies, a student job or projects.
• Hands-on experience using AI and other technology tools to automate tasks and find smarter ways of working.
• Good communication skills in English and ability to write clear, structured documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document Critical Data Attributes (CDAs) with stakeholders.
• Analyze data with data owners to assess quality and root causes.
• Define and maintain data definitions, rules, thresholds and documentation.
• Monitor data quality outputs, follow up on remediation and raise issues.
• Collaborate with data owners, stewards and stakeholders across business and technology.
