Job summary

Saxo Bank in Aarhus is forming an Markets Data Office and seeks a Data Portfolio Analyst to help build the data foundation. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners and technology teams to define, monitor and control critical data across markets.

You will work across four domain areas, contribute to AI-enabled workflows, dashboards in Power BI, and governance processes while learning from experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• Recently completed a master's degree or have around one to two years of professional experience.
• A relevant degree in information systems, data science, computer science, business analytics or a similar field.
• Interest in data and how it supports business processes, plus connecting business and technology.
• Experience with SQL, Python or similar tools from studies, a student job or personal projects.
• Hands-on experience using AI or other technology to automate tasks and find smarter ways of working.
• Good communication skills in English and the ability to write clear and structured documentation.

Responsibilities

• Explore and test new technology, including AI, and help the team choose and use the right tools.
• Set up reporting and dashboards for data owners and data stewards, e.g. in Power BI.
• Automate manual parts of governance work, including data quality checks, documentation and metadata.
• Build and maintain AI-supported workflows and data workflows with Azure or Databricks.
• Test and validate automated workflows, including AI outputs, before day-to-day governance use.
• Help define and maintain data definitions, rules, thresholds and supporting documentation.
• Monitor data quality outputs, follow up on remediation and raise issues when unresolved.
• Collaborate with data owners, stewards and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
