Job summary

Saxo Bank is building a Markets Data Office to govern critical data across Markets. You will lead data governance within your domain, collaborating with business stakeholders and technology teams to improve data definitions, quality and controls.

You will contribute to cross-domain data initiatives, shaping governance practices and frameworks as the team scales, with opportunities to influence how data is governed at scale across Markets.

Qualifications

• Several years of banking sector experience is required.
• Experience in data analysis, data governance or related field.
• Ability to contextualize data within business processes and explain findings to both business and tech audiences.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Hands-on SQL; Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own ongoing data governance activities within your domain.
• Identify and document Critical Data Attributes (CDAs) with stakeholders.
• Assess data quality and lead root-cause investigations.
• Define data definitions, rules, thresholds and monitoring docs.
• Monitor data quality outputs and escalate issues.
• Collaborate with data owners, stewards and tech teams.
