Job summary

Saxo Bank invites a Data Portfolio Analyst to join the newly formed Markets Data Office. You will own governance activities, collaborate with data owners, stewards and technology teams, and help set standards across four domains in Markets to govern critical data.

You bring banking experience, data analysis and strong SQL skills; Python is a plus. You will contribute to data definitions, quality monitoring and governance practices as the team grows.

Qualifications

• Some years of experience in banking sector.
• Experience in data analysis, data quality or governance.
• Ability to explain data findings to business and technical audiences.
• Hands-on SQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Own data governance activities within your domain.
• Document CDAs and CDEs with stakeholders.
• Analyse data with owners to assess quality and root causes.
• Define data definitions, rules and monitoring thresholds.
• Monitor data quality outputs and manage remediation.
• Collaborate with data owners, stewards and tech teams.
• Help shape frameworks and governance practices.
