Job summary

Siemens Gamesa is seeking a Team Lead for Offshore Blades Module in Denmark to shape strategy and lead a specialized blade engineering team. You will oversee lifecycle management of blades and structural elements, ensuring top quality and performance across offshore systems.

You will mentor engineers, drive KPIs, manage risks, and collaborate with fellow managers to optimize resources and align engineering strategies for sustained market leadership.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in wind turbine blade engineering or related fields.
• 3-5 years of managerial - team lead experience, primarily mentoring technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of composite materials and structural mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Inspire: Manage and mentor a team of blade engineers, fostering their growth and ensuring they have the skills needed for today and tomorrow.
• Drive Performance: Set clear KPIs and oversee team operations to meet budget and quality targets.
• Manage Risks: Monitor blade performance, resolve technical issues, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
• Collaborate: Work closely with other managers to optimize resources and align strategies across engineering departments.
