To facilitate the use of AI, we have created an Enterprise AI team, which is responsible for creating AI agents in our infrastructure, setting up MCP connectors and providing the infrastructure and AI tools for the organization. As a Lead IT Operation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of our agents and our AI‑related systems and services. This role involves setting up AI agents and MCP connectors, managing IT infrastructure and services, monitoring system performance, and resolving technical issues. You will work closely with cross‑functional IT teams to ensure that IT operations support business objectives, maintain high system availability, and meet security standards.
Responsibilities
- Own intake of AI agents and automations built in the organization into our managed infrastructure
- Maintain the portfolio of AI agents and automations, ensuring cost control, reliability, effective monitoring, and resolution of complex issues
- Build and maintain MCP connectors to enable effective use of AI tools across the organization
- Support the monitoring, management, and optimization of our AI‑related IT infrastructure and services to ensure high performance, security, and availability
- Develop and implement IT operational processes in the Enterprise AI area to ensure efficient operations and incident resolution, and support the transition of routine tasks to the Operations Center
- Ensure our AI‑related agents and connectors comply with security policies, procedures, and industry regulations, including guardrails such as Azure Policies and Copilot Studio guidelines
- Collaborate with business units and our AI Enablement team to ensure seamless end‑to‑end execution across teams and business function boundaries
- Provide lead guidance and drive a collaborative, results‑oriented environment for junior IT operations specialists

Qualifications (What we value)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure AI Foundry, Azure Policies, and related infrastructure — comfortable navigating the Azure ecosystem and applying governance controls
- Hands‑on experience with Claude, Copilot Studio or similar AI orchestration platforms, and an understanding of how to configure, monitor, and maintain AI tools at scale
- Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or API integration patterns — understands how to connect AI assistants like Microsoft Copilot and Claude to enterprise systems
- A solid grasp of IT operations fundamentals: monitoring, incident management, availability, cost control, and service reliability
- Experience with AI agent lifecycle management — from intake and onboarding through to ongoing monitoring and decommissioning
- Comfort working across security and compliance boundaries, including implementing guardrails and ensuring adherence to policies and regulations
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills — works effectively across engineering, business, and enablement teams and can translate between technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- An interest in or understanding of AI governance frameworks — appreciates why guardrails matter and can implement them practically
