Join some of the most innovative thinkers in FinTech as we lead the evolution of financial technology. If you are an innovative, curious, collaborative person who embraces challenges and wants to grow, learn and pursue outcomes with our prestigious financial clients, say Hello to SimCorp!

At its foundation, SimCorp is guided by our values — caring, customer success-driven, collaborative, curious, and courageous. Our people-centered organization focuses on skills development, relationship building, and client success. We take pride in cultivating an environment where all team members can grow, feel heard, valued, and empowered.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

As part of Deutsche Börse Group — within the Product Development, Alternative Investments area — we continuously discover and develop brand-new solutions of the highest importance for our clients and the market.

We are seeking highly analytical professionals who are eager to create innovative solutions in a culture that values trust and teamwork. You will work with code based on C# and APL, and with many new technologies for cloud development in Azure.

As part of our international Scrum teams, you will play a crucial role in delivering solutions within our system, SimCorp Dimension, and the Azure cloud, while working closely with Offer Managers and engaging directly with clients. You will also have the opportunity to learn about financial investments, including developing solutions for Alternative Investments.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

You will apply your talents across all stages of the development lifecycle, including the creation and review of user stories, design, development, testing, coding, code reviews, writing automated tests, and support. You will be using multiple technologies, and your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new functionality and continuously improving the existing code base
  • Working with backend and mid-tier technologies, as well as web frontend standards
  • Collaborating with your Scrum team to reach the definition of done within each sprint
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and gather fast feedback
  • Continuously learning and improving yourself, your team, and our product — including working with modern engineering practices such as test-driven development, pair programming, and mob programming
WHAT WE VALUE

Most importantly, we want you to see yourself contributing and thriving in the role described above. We expect you to be proficient in several of the following areas and willing to learn the rest:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
  • Programming experience in C# using the .NET Framework
  • Knowledge of cloud services, infrastructure, pipelines, and architecture — preferably on Azure
  • Familiarity and ideally hands‑on experience with Azure Bicep, Azure CLI, PowerShell, Bash, etc.
  • Understanding of modern web technologies and RESTful API communication
  • Interest in or experience with APL
  • Experience with automated testing
  • Ability to work with and develop complex architecture
  • Adaptability — able to pivot quickly when needed
  • Proactive, self‑driven, and improvement‑focused mindset
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written)
BENEFITS

We offer a competitive salary, bonus scheme, and pension — essentials for any work agreement. But at SimCorp, we believe in offering more. In addition to a traditional benefits package, we provide excellent work‑life balance through flexible work hours and a hybrid workplace model.

We also offer IP sprints — three weeks per quarter dedicated to mastering your skills and contributing innovative ideas to company development.

There is never just one path — we take an individual approach to professional development to support the direction you want to take.

Equal Opportunity

SimCorp is an equal‑opportunity employer. We are committed to building a culture where diverse perspectives and expertise are integrated into our everyday work. We believe in the continual growth and development of our employees, so that we can provide best‑in‑class solutions to our clients.
